Avila Beach is an amazing place to visit. Located just north of Pismo and west of San Luis Obispo. The main beach is surrounded by restaurants and shops. There are 2 other beaches that are perfect to relax or let little children play.
The kids love to boogie board on the main beach. If you don’t have a board, there are shops where you can find one.
The ice cream shops are always the kids favorite stop at the end of a day on the beach.
The old pier is my favorite area. This is where we take our RV. Very quiet with great food and drinks. Pete’s is a great stop – fish tacos are awesome! The Olde Port Inn has great seafood, appetizers and a bar. Try the mussels appetizer!
There is also plenty of fresh seafood to purchase while taking in the sites, including the local sea lions.
